The final day:
My weekend of flawless designs, outrageous street style, enjoying socializing with fashions elite and some of the countries most talented designers has come to end. Alas as the saying goes 'all good things must come to an end'. However luckily for you and I the whole event has been documented in photographs and the and London fashion week is twice a year.
I have also interviewed quite a few of these talented designers one of which is included in this post. Here's a hint as to who it is... they have commissioned to people such as Marina and the diamonds, Paloma Faith and even Jessie J at the beginning of her career. You'll have to speed through the street style photos if the suspense is too much.
The Yang Du interview:

Yang Du arrived in London 10 years ago with nothing but her suitcases and jewels. She came to England after being inspired by John Galliano, she left Central St Martins in 2008 and launched her line in 2009. Not only was she inspired by him but she has had experience working alongside not only John Galliano but Vivienne Westwood and Giles Decon.
After seeing her infamous hippo dress I decided I had to meet her.
I met Yang Du in the Portico show room at Somerset house this is how it went...
I know its a generic question but what inspires you:
I am inspired by ordinary things just looked at through a different perspective of course i'm also inspired by the places I go and the people I meet.
Talking of people hasn't Paloma faith commissioned one or two of your dresses?
Yes! And Marina and the Diamonds and Jessie J at the start of her career.
Which is your statement piece?
I'd say the hippo piece, people still ask for it today and it was one of my first pieces.
And whats been the highlight of your career?
Oh there's been so many amazing experiences but so many rough ones as well, however working with John Galliano was amazing.
This basically sums up all you need to know:
'Yang: I expected you guys to be older, your so cute and amazing!'
As I have said I have numerous other interviews that I will post at a later date,
- Emily

I am more than happy for you since I know how much going to London Fashion Week meant to you! I just hope I can attend it someday too :)
